What’s the period of time for returning items?

If for any reason you are unhappy with a product, you have the right to request a refund for the order. The product will need to be returned to us within 30 days of order dispatch, or within 14 days for sale items. 

How can I return my item? 

The most effective way to return an item is to bring the item back to one of our stores, which can be found in the Our Stores section of our website. The best store to drop back the item to be would be Kavanagh's Fonthill, Unit 2 Fonthill Retail Park, Fonthill Road, Dublin 22, D22YF21

If this is not possible you can return the item by post. You will pay the delivery costs unless the product is found to be faulty. If the item is faulty, we will refund the postage costs. We advise using recorded delivery for this method of returning the item to us. 

What conditions need to be met to return my item?

Any item for return needs to be returned complete, in its original packaging, with the proof of purchase and receipt for the item. A reason for the return of the product also needs to be enclosed. Some items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, such as duvets and pillows and readymade curtains once the seal has been broken. 

Under the European Directive on Distance Selling Law, all blinds and net curtains that are made to measure are exempt from returns unless they are faulty. It is therefore very important to measure your windows accurately. If any guidance is required, please feel free to contact our customer services by email or phone. If a blind is found to be faulty, we will replace or refund the item.

When will I receive my refund? 

Once a return has been approved, a full refund will be made via the same method used to make the purchase. For refunds on credit/debit cards, there may be a delay in processing the monies.
